Krill is Sautner Studio's flagship product: a decentralized, offline-first process control and automation system for Raspberry Pi and Linux. Everything is a node — sensors, timers, calculations, logic gates, cameras, webhooks, over 35 types — wired into a live swarm that reacts in real time. No cloud account. No subscriptions. No single point of failure. Servers discover each other on the network and self-assemble into a peer-to-peer mesh you watch in the app as data flows and alerts fire.

EDUCATIONAL IMPACT
The architecture, API documentation, and implementation guides designed for Nimbits were so foundational to early IoT education that they were compiled and published as the primary instructional text in the 2012 book Building Internet of Things with the Arduino. The platform became an industry benchmark used worldwide to teach students cloud-to-edge sensor logging.
